I managed to get one good crop of snow peas out of six years trying in Baton Rouge. Same record here in central Virginia. Been trying to start some in peat pellets. Won't even sprout. Put the rest of the seed pack in the ground yesterday. Here goes the 7th try here (or first of another 6).
Anyone successful at growing lots of peas every year in the South?
They seem to need a coolish, long spring; whereas, we tend to get short springs. They start producing and then get burned out. Got peas every year in NJ.
