Share 'Looking for information- Himalayan Thornberry'

Has anyone heard of or know anything about a bush called a Himalayan Thornberry? A friend of mine was given some seeds, told how to sprout them, grow them etc,,,,but we don't know anymore than that, except the berries are suppose to be extremely healthy.
