At the top of most pages is your screen name & logo that connects you to your My Page/Profile, the envelope is Private Messages and the little guy is your 'Friend'. New PMs and friends will display a small 'new'.
Familiarize yourself with your "My Page". You can fully customize this page.
The Forum is where the Daily pics and other posts should go. Please read the 'Image Posting how-to' below. There is a large reply box below the first post in a thread, the replies all appear below that. You can reply to the first post in the big reply box or to individual replies.
The fastest way to view any link is to Right click and 'Open in a new window'.
All pics loaded into your public Album will show up in the Main page slide show. Slide Shows contain the 50 most recent images. You can create 'Private' Albums with as many pics as you want. Just check the appropriate 'who can view' box for each pic. There is no daily limit on images posted in Forum discussions.
There is a Description box for image titles. Descriptions & Tags will be very helpful in searches as your Albums grow.
The Google Location box is helpful for viewers. Use the arrows & +- to move the map and zoom in or out.
Blogs are for anything that comes to mind that you are willing to share.
Friends on Garden Gallery are important. Some members post items with a "friends only" stipulation. Members must be friends to exchange Private messages.
Any underlined words are clickable links, like user names and image links.
I am personally uncomfortable using my full name on any public web site. If you feel the same and got suckered into filling out your profile with your full name, you can change it.
Go to your My Page ~ My Profile settings ~ change your name ~ save.
