Thank you GTO for the compliment for my pic the "Loner". I was a little reluctant to put my photos on this site, afraid they may not be good enough. Thank you so much for the compliment. I have been taking photos of plants for a couple of years. I have many photos and no idea what to do with them. I just keep taking them, saving them and displaying them as my computers desktop background. Since Michigan winters are so long, I love seeing a different flower on my computer’s background. It keeps me sane when the cabin fever sets in.
Hi GTO,
What is the name of your city? I am not familiar with a place referred as “great white north". I love Michigan, but wish we had longer summers and shorter winters.
Hello GTO! Thank you very much for the warm welcome! And for the invite!
Yep I know lunaria is grown by seed (and the two years), they are soo beautiful! I really appreciate that list you posted too!!!! Reminded me of several plants I had gotten (in transplant form) from an ex-friend when she first moved into her place that was overgrown with gorgeous flowering plants! Most of which she sadly let die, just because she didn't want the landlord to sell the place. Some I had actually gotten the last plants. OH well, I guess I just get to start from scratch LOL!
Thank you again for the warm welcome!!!
Hi GTO...thanks for adding me. I'm still trying to get used to this altho, I haven't had much time to do so as of yet. Will keep stopping by and reading...maybe get how it works better in a while.
Hope all is well in your world...stay warm...looks like we'll finally get some more sunshine and warmth this week in this area...

My avatar is a painting by Sergey Smirnov (1953-2006). It's called "Natalia" (painted on silk, 2006) and I liked it at first glance :-)
